A testament to resilience, cooperation, and the enduring partnership between Pakistan and Kuwait.

Thanks to the leadership of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah (May Allah protect him), and the efforts of the Government of Kuwait under the visionary guidance of His Highness the Amir, whose coordination has ensured continuity and normalcy of daily life for the Kuwaiti citizens and expatriates alike.

Jazeera Airways successfully initiated its first flight to Lahore today. Passengers are being facilitated from Kuwait to Dammam by bus before boarding onward flights to Pakistan (Jazeera Airways has restored its full schedule of six weekly flights - two each to Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad).

Ambassador Dr. Zafar Iqbal was present at the departure of the first group of passengers, where he expressed solidarity with Kuwait and conveyed sincere appreciation to the Kuwaiti government for its facilitative efforts.
The Ambassador commended Jazeera Airways for its innovative operational arrangement, extended his best wishes to the passengers for a pleasant journey home and back, and expressed hope that Kuwait International Airport will be reopened by the time they return after spending time with their families. He stated that Pakistan and Pakistani community in Kuwait stand in solidarity with our Kuwaiti brothers and sisters. He said that the response from our community to the resumption of flights reflects their commitment to strong Pak-Kuwait relations as Jazeera Airways' all return flights from Pakistan to Kuwait are fully booked, and that our expatriate community members (including many health workers) are eager to come back to Kuwait to resume their contributions to the economy and society.
