KUWAIT: The General Fire Force has carried out wide-ranging inspection campaigns across several governorates, including the Capital, Farwaniya, and Ahmadi, as part of ongoing efforts to enforce fire safety and prevention regulations in buildings and commercial facilities. According to authorities, the campaign targeted establishments found in violation of fire safety standards, with inspectors monitoring compliance across various commercial, industrial, and service sectors. The initiative aims to ensure that all facilities adhere to approved safety requirements to protect lives and property. The General Fire Force said the inspection drive resulted in the administrative closure of 57 facilities and industrial shops that were found to be in serious violation of safety regulations. In addition, 562 notices were issued to other establishments for failing to meet fire safety requirements set by the authority. Officials stressed that such campaigns will continue across the country to enhance compliance and reduce fire risks, urging business owners to rectify violations promptly and adhere strictly to safety guidelines.
