Kuwait Women registered a commanding 10-wicket victory over Singapore Women after a clinical all-round performance in their ACC Women's Premier Cup 2026 encounter.
After electing to bowl first, Kuwait produced a disciplined bowling display to restrict Singapore to 94/6 in their 20 overs. The innings was in trouble early as Singapore slumped to 18/5 inside nine overs, thanks to excellent spells from captain Amna Tariq (1/11), Maryam Omar (2/12) and Maria Jasvi (2/17).
Despite the early collapse, Risha Seth played a brilliant rescue act with an unbeaten 57 off 39 balls, striking seven fours and a six, while R. Bhashin contributed an unbeaten 10 as the pair added valuable runs to take Singapore to a respectable total.
In reply, Kuwait made light work of the chase. Openers Priyada Murali and S. Gomez put together an unbroken 97-run partnership to seal victory in just 15.2 overs.
Murali anchored the innings with a composed 44* off 47 balls, while Gomez matched her at the other end with an impressive 42* off 45 deliveries. The pair ensured there were no setbacks as Kuwait comfortably crossed the target with 28 balls to spare.
The comprehensive win was built on Kuwait’s outstanding bowling effort and capped off by a confident batting display, securing an emphatic 10-wicket triumph.
